Girl, I know this is a lot

Hello Reader,

I hope you had an incredible weekend and are staying hydrated.

I know this is all so overwhelming.

Some nights I honestly can’t sleep because I’m thinking about what is happening to Black women and what the next few years are going to require of us. I’ve been doing Black Women Amplified for more than three years now, and this has always been a place where we talk about our lives, our businesses, our stories, and the things that affect us. So I’m not watching all of this from a distance. I’m paying attention, and some of what I see is a lot.

There is so much happening around us right now, and I know I’m not the only one who has had moments of wondering what this is going to mean for us. But one thing I know about us is that we know how to hunker down, figure things out, and get to the other side.

What I don’t want is for us to simply get to the other side.

I want us to thrive when we get there.

That has me looking very closely at what is happening in business because business is changing whether we are ready for it or not. AI is changing a whole lot, and I have to tell you, I have a love-meh relationship with it myself. I use it. It has made some parts of my workday a whole lot easier. But some of the things people are building with this technology? Baby. The builders seem to have a plan the Joker couldn’t have thought up.

So I have been on the web with my Spidey senses turned all the way up, looking past all the noise and trying to understand what is really happening. I want to know what is changing, what is getting pushed, what people are responding to and, more importantly, what I think is coming.

And after 35 years of being an entrepreneur, I recognize patterns.

Here is what I keep coming back to: I believe our businesses are going to have to become deeply human in this next era.

Not because technology doesn’t matter. It does. I’m using it myself. But the more technology can do, the easier it becomes for everyone to sound polished, produce content, and put something out into the world. And when that happens, the human connection becomes even more important.

People still want to know who they are dealing with. They want to trust the person behind the business. They want to feel understood. They want to feel like you actually see them and understand what they are trying to accomplish. That has always been part of how people decide who they will listen to, who they will buy from, and who they will trust. Technology hasn’t changed human psychology.

That is why I have been thinking so much about visibility and positioning.

I don’t mean visibility in the way we have been talking about it for years. I am not talking about whether you are posting enough on Instagram or whether you should suddenly start dancing on TikTok. I am talking about whether people actually understand your value when they come across your work. I am talking about whether you are positioned in a way that reflects the experience you have earned and whether the way you communicate gives people a reason to trust you.

Because you can be everywhere and still not be positioned well.

You can have a beautiful website and still leave people wondering what makes you different.

You can have a great offer and still have a hard time getting people to see themselves in it.

And you can have twenty years of experience behind you and still be communicating like you are trying to prove yourself.

I see this all the time, and I have had to look at it in my own business too. My business has shifted tremendously over the last 18 months. I have had to pay attention, make changes, rethink things,, and be honest with myself about what still fits and what doesn’t. That is part of being in business for a long time. You learn that the business has seasons, and sometimes the way you have been doing things no longer makes sense for where you are going.

So I decided to do something about it.

I created what I am calling The Visibility Code Experience.

It is a private session for the woman who has already put in the work and is now looking at her business and thinking, “Okay, what needs to change now?”

Before we meet, I will have you complete an intake so I can understand what you are doing, what you are trying to accomplish and where you feel stuck. I will review what you share, and when we get on the call, we will look at your positioning, your visibility, and the way you are communicating your expertise. I also want to look at the experience people are having when they encounter your business because that is part of how trust is built.

And I am going to be honest with you about what I see.

Maybe your positioning needs work. Maybe your message needs to catch up with your expertise. Maybe you are spending your energy in places that are not helping you. Maybe people are seeing you, but they are not quite understanding why they should choose you. Maybe there is something you have been too close to see.

We will figure that out together.

Then I will give you a game plan for what I believe you should focus on as you move into Q4 and the year ahead.

I am offering the Visibility Code Experience, and I would really love to work with some of you on this because I know how frustrating it can be to know you have something valuable and still feel like you have not quite figured out how to communicate it in a way that makes the market see what you see.

I have spent 35 years learning how to notice these things, and I think this is one of those moments when that experience matters.

So if you have been sitting there wondering what is next, wondering whether you need to change everything again, or simply feeling like something about the way you are showing up is not quite right, this is for you. Let’s sit down together and explore your business.

I have openings this week and would love to be of service to you. I will post the link below where you can read about the entire session and the FAQ’s.

You are not in this alone.

Let’s work,

Monica Wisdom
